Don’t Stop Me Now

Nicole is a mixed media artist working in both acrylic and ceramics. She creates handmade porcelain accents which are attached to her acrylic paintings to create textural and three-dimensional work. Her work explores balance and contrast with a focus on florals and nature.

Attending Rollings School of the Arts in Summerville, SC, she always had an interest in and love for the visual arts. After teaching elementary school for several years, she began to explore her creative side more when she became a stay at home mom. After spending years honing her skills in ceramics, she decided to combine it with her love of painting. Nicole lives in Mount Pleasant, SC with her husband and two daughters, where she works out of her home studio by the ocean.

Her work has been featured in Atlanta for Spotlight on Art and in The Scouted Studio for the Emerging Artist Show as well as, Canvas Rebel, South Carolina Voyager, House & Garden UK, and Bold Journey.
